what a week ..

the week in short form .....

eyes.lips.eyes & the fictionist concert on top of the jet blue garage. Lone Star fish tacos mmm.

my first time up to ensign peak. got a job at high life salon downtown.

stayed up late with the best of friends. ate at some of my favorite places.

temple visit. Joseph Smith movie & church history museum. daily walks at memory grove park. visited old friends. founds some cute finds at dI & pibs. Cleaned my new apartment..

woo woo what a week ..I'm not sure if slc can handle me yet ..

contemporary dance

My experience in being apart of the St. George Contemporary Dance Concert was such a blessing, I met such amazingly talented & kind people.

Suprisingly I felt so comfortable on stage & wished the performance never ended.

This concert gave me such a sense of purpose and healing too. Trina choreographed me a solo spot in her Alone In the Crowd routine where she wanted me to go to that place of numbness & feeling immovable we both had experienced after the passing of our Fathers.

So I danced for my Dad..words can't express how I felt as I tapped into those emotions and invoked them through movement !

Thank you to my sister Shawna, my Moo Moo & Keith for coming out and supporting my dancing.. It had been such along time since I had performed so thank you, knowing you were out there watching made it even sweeter !!

Summer Roberts knows how to put on a great show and I hope to be invited to do the concert again next year ...ooo maybe with my own choreographed piece !

Honestly one of the best baseball games I've ever been to .. Bee's vs Fresno Grizzlies

even though the Bee's lost 6-5 .. it was a pretty exciting game with a tie & overtimes
The best part of the entire night was the chicago dog & Fireworks.. hands down the best firework show I've ever seen.

Yup, I've been a cleaning & babysitting machine the past 3 days

& wow I'm exhausted ..It feels great though ! I'm catching a tiny glimpse of just how hard it is to be a mother & keep up on all the house duties (phew) props to you mothers

Alright ya'll in my previous post below titled "couldn't have asked for more" I tried to describe that particular weekend and couldn't.. adequately enough ... I now find myself in an even more pathetic loss of words for the weekend I've just experienced !!

Mom and I drove up to support Mary's incredible accomplishment of graduating medical school.

Now she and Neal will be heading down to Provo for the next chapter of their lives for her residency. Way to go Mary !!

Everytime I make the drive up to slc and see downtown I feel a sense of excitement
I was fortunate enough to be able to see old friends that make this city a second home to me .. Friday night dinner with an old friend at the happy sumo, lunch & catching up with Ashley, Saturday dinner with Anna at the coveted dodo and a visit to my old home ward.

This trip also opened up to me new opportunities and possibilities (I wasn't at all expecting).. adorned with beautiful new faces & friends .

Above you can see an apartment I may soon be calling "home" I have much to think about after this recent trip and it's all very exciting ..so much so ... My stomach has been overly anxious and I have found a new friend in TUMS (thanks to Mary aka Dr. Puff)
Oh also ..my mother & I were introduced to a wonderful bakery/cafe called Gourmandies which my mother has expressed to me is worth dying and going to heaven for !

After all that has transpired I'm left with much on my mind ....I think something great is going to happen soon...new job ? new home ? new friendships ?

behind the mail box ..

So all last week I stayed home (imprisoned) awaiting some important court papers that I had to sign for to recieve so .. I had this crazy thought that an actual mailman would come to the door ! Well day after day they never came & never came .. I was getting a lil worried that this process was going to take alot longer than I wanted :( but.... finally saturday we stopped by the mail box on our way into town and low & behold there was two notice slips saying that they had tried to deliver the registered mail to me ( but.. excuse me I had been glued to my house, keeping my ears peeled for a knock or door bell anything ..and it never happened) so I think they lie !! haha so after I got over my lil bit of frustration with the post office.. I had the papers and it didn't matter anymore !
Now ..I can say that there signed and sent off and I'm ready to move on .... (phew)
