Cake Bust

Matthew was so stoked cutting the cake on our wedding day ...

We've made it.... married three months

I brought the cake home with me from St.George and we'll..just couldn't resist....

yeah... I know you don't usually bust out the cake till your first anniversay but we aren't very traditional so we have decided to bust it out every month on the 18th ... Also I loved my cake so any excuse to eat it before the first year mark sounded alright to me !!

22nd Birthday ..

Since I'm not really making any money at this time ... I was a lil reluctant to spend any $$ on my birthday ... usually I pamper myself and get the facial, massage etc. So after the entire morning doing pretty much nothing I asked my husband If I could just get a pedicure or a pair of boots ?? he replied... "I already got you something.. stop trying to spend all our money ha ha ha" :) after I laughed for a good while he quickly answered back with a " go get a pedicure if you'd like " Sweet :) so I had no idea where to go for this pedicure... so i googled it and found THE COOLEST PLACE...

It's called Nailed Boutique and it was literally the cutest lil spot I've ever been too.

and the price was amazing and the end result was fab !

When Matthew got home from work he handed me this crazy looking box and said " I didn't have any wrapping paper"... but in Matthew's creative lil mind conjured up a way to cover the box with odds and ends from his work... It was so silly yet so adorable.. I loved it .. I loved what was inside too as well. He went to Sexy Modest .. and got this adorable ruffle Lucca top and a black tank to go under it ...I wore it that evening and looked freaking hot..
So where did he take me to dinner?? you may ask we'll after we finally found parking we walked around as if lost ... and i didn't know where we where going ... We stopped and asked the nicest guy where Tokashi's was. He informed us that we were way off and offered to walk us there !!
We finally got there, waited and waited and watched all these up'dy couples with their huge bling and designer clothes get seated so kindly while all us normal folk where treated like cattle ...and can I just say that I don't care If you are 5 star, the best Japanese place in SLC .. If the service sucks and you don't treat everyone equal your not worth going too. So... to put it short we felt uncomfortable and we left .. but that didn't ruin my night the fact that Matthew wanted to treat me to the best and had even tried making reservations there made me feel so special... But I literally was so content just going to Happy Sumo .. where service is always great and the food is so yum yum !! I always get the peanut stir fry and a funky roll which makes me a very happy girl..
Then we went to C.P.K and got the red velvet cake ... literally sex on a plate :) ok jk ..but it's really good. All In all I loved my Birthday .. Thank you everyone who called or texted me it really means alot to know I have friends who remember and family who loves me ... I love you Matthew and all you do and try to do :) you make me so happy ..

Blue Sweater..
