We had a delightful Thanksgiving at our cousin Christy's home in Columbus

Matthew was elated when he saw his sweet cousin

Emma from Nashville .. whom he hadn't seen in way too many years !!

How grateful we are to be closer to Matt's family

It had been a long time since he was able to spend a Thanksgiving with them ..

Truely the company & food was divine !!

Our competition girls had the opportunity to spend the entire weekend in Pittsburgh for NUVO

there they learned and danced with professional dancers/choreographers like....

Matt and I were able to spend saturday there to support the girls while they competed

my boo stayed the entire 7 hrs with me .. love' em !!

The girls did great, they had so much fun as did I

helping them with their hair and makeup was hilarious these girls are so funny ..

Matt and I spent a lil time downtown .. Pittsburgh is an awesome city it's so unique with 3 rivers running through it and the bridges are bright yellow !

I'm sure we will be visiting the city often ..

on the water

Our boat has finally met water ..

after pulling it hundreds of miles from Utah to Texas

and now to Ohio she has finally been on water

The old boat ran very well .. in fact after we figured out a few things she ran beautifully
as you can see Matt is paddling ..
we were so nervous to get the engine caught in the brush underwater so we would paddle out to where we thought it was deep enough before starting her up ..
oh and the boat filled up with water cuz we are fools
and forgot to plug the draining hole !!
It was an adventure to say the least .. we learned alot

Thanks to some sweet connections we have here..

we got to take our boat out on a private lake

it was peaceful and such a wonderfully warm day
couldn't have asked for better conditions..

I TEACH DANCE yahoo .. and I'm totally enjoying it !

these little darlings are in my lyrical 2 class ..

I have two lyrical 2 classes on

different days because the group is sorta big !

I also teach High School Jazz 3 which is awesome we have some great talent ..

so I love that I can just throw my crazy choreography at them.

Right now I'm really focusing on technique and workouts, mostly for me but the girls seem to be benefited too as well. I'll be posting more about my competition girls too ..soon

so here are just a small few of the girls I teach ..

this group of young ladies are in my hiphop 2 class

there is about 15 of them usually !

these jr. high girls have tons of energy and I try to harness it into movement
It's a prettyt hiliarous time .. I love it

grass is blue on the other side

yes indeedy.. cross the Ohio river into Wheeling, West Virginia and you get blue grass!

Matt's parents are good friends of the members of Peaches' lil band

this band has been coming together to perform their annual concert at the Stifel Mansion

.. for 21 years.

The music was spectacular, it wasn't lacking of any talent ..not at all ..

they all were multi talented there wasn't an instrument they couldn't play!!

day with the boys

spend a day with the boys you get introduced to all their toys ..

like an exmark lawn mower, bobcat and a kubota

yes and they let me handle all three ...

little did they know how scary that could be ...

to see me on this huge lawn mower was a hoot !

I was a mad women on that thing .. I literally tore the grass up !

(pretty addicting once you get the hang of it !!)

but it's a new toy to me and I love it
