Well after 3weeks of resumes interviews and second interview's

major baseball

Jeff has this great love for baseball something he shared with our dad so when he calls and invites me to a Texas Rangers game, I in a way feel that same connection.

I may not know the players name or their stats but I get it ...the experience is just throughly enjoyable

we couldn't have asked for a better day .. mmm it was awesome !!

Miss Camie and Maddie where such great sports they stuck it out the entire game .. we'll almost we got out of there for traffic purposes

This was my 1st major leauge baseball game gotta say I wasn't dissappointed ... the stadium was breathtakingly huge and the hot dog price tag $$ wasn't too shaby !

We caught a photo op with" Captian" right after he helped a gentle men (surprise) propose to his girl friend ... It was pretty hilarious

Captain held a sign that read " Will you marry this guy ??" yeah, we all didnt get why he was holding the sign.. until the guy dropped down on one knee ..

anywho thought it was funny

my brother Jeff is pretty bomb .. Im just so thrilled he would invite me to tag along.. I loved it thank you so much Jeff & Erika

was right by the ball field it is pretty dope looking ...
oh yeah check her out in all her glouriousness .. (not a word) I'm sure just sounded cool ha ha

easter '10

Signs that it is Easter Sunday ...

A lovely smell coming from the kitchen with food to be eaten

little nieces all giddy.. and in new matching dresses..

the dinner table is beautifully decorated... the powerful singing of the Tabernacle Choir in the background

And of course..Its spring outside with all its glory !! ..

After our lovely Easter dinner..

Conference was a spiritual feast !!

I managed to stay awake for the entire morning session ...

not so much in the afternoon ..

I think I ate too much of the amazing food !! zzzz

so... since we will only be residents in this lovely town home for 2 short months
I didn't see the purpose in getting it all decorated to my full liking, plus it's a lot more square footage then we are used to ha ha ...
so it'll just wait until we get into our new and more long term apartment... but here is a little peek of some light decorating I did do.

Heritage Hitters

And it begins.... It's that time again

Yup... here my first week and I get to cheer on
Matt & Jeff playing there first softball league game..
Just from the Heritage Hitters first game they already seem to be a pretty dang good team !!
The players consist of a group of men in the Heritage ward, who in my opinion are such a delight to watch play ..
Watching Jeff play again
was sort of like old times.. when I would be out on a hot St.George day with mom & dad watching him pitch for Pine View High, but this time I knew a little more of what was going on.




































The boys had a double hitter that night ... and man was it cold and windy!!
The first game we won
The second game.. not so much
But we had a blast though and that's all that counted

Texan it ...

Alright ya'll we've made the move... all 2o + hours of driving !!
Matt got into Salt Lake at 1am Friday March 19th . We had our last breakfast in Utah at the Egg in the City, and lunch at Este pizza.
Got caught with expired plates ..ugh.. yelled at lame ace credit unions.. packed up all the stuff we could possibly fit in my car and we were on our way !!!

First stop - St. George
didn't take any pictures because the camera was packed so tightly in the car (sorry ya'll) but we spent some time with the family which was lovely

Second stop- Gallop, New Mexico
thank you again Jeff the Comfort Suite was so needed and appreciated
a heafty 5 gas stops in total
Then once you near the Texas border prepare for the flatness !!


I can't believe Matthew made this trip all by himself pulling a boat filled with our things going a shocking 50 miles per hour ....
I vowed to never drive this trip ever again !!

-So this is what you will see .... a few staggering plateaus and lots of Indian reservation homes /octagon dwellings

-These are pictures from Matts solo trip when there was much more snow.. which I think made it more scenic then what I experienced ...

Matthew was such a trooper and drove the entire way alone & when he drove out with me too...
(Hey it wasn't like I didn't offer to drive !!)
I'm so glad to finally be back with my Matthew and grateful we made it okay ...

have you seen these stamps floating around...

we'll they caught my eye the other day and it got me thinking ....

yes.. thinking scary huh !!

these lovely stamps came out recently being Valentines and all, i assume ... i instantly thought, why do we give into these silly made up holidays ??

I believe we should appreciate our loved ones everyday, cliche I know ... but i'm serious.

We should also appreciate the men and women we once loved or thought we loved .... I know I am so grateful and appreciative of every guy I shared sweet time with ...really we learn how to love, what love is and what love isn't from all those experiences ....

I really began to reflect and ponder from just looking at this silly picture on the

stamp ...

I thought how are we sending love each day ?

How do i send love to others so they will be reseptive of it ?

Who writes letters anymore??

How often do we use a stamp in efforts to reach out to a loved one ??..

From this stamp I also thought how a letter gives a more intimate, personal touch than just an e-mail or text ...which we could use more of that in this techno generated world of ours!

anyways thought i would share some of me ... crazy thoughts
