What a beautiful day!
Emma was such a good baby during the blessing and
she wore the most gorgeous blessing dress I absolutely love it
It was such a pleasure to be apart of her special day ..
The food and family company was delightful !

what's been happen 'n ?

It's hot hot hot here .. and i mean hot !!
Its been over 105 degrees more than 20 days in a row i swear
I should've heeded the warnings from others when they'd said it gets hot here !!
I don't even want to go to the pool its so hot, but thank goodness we have had a little bit
of a cool down now ...phew
It's been such a transition moving here .. Matt and I have learned a lot here so far
We are in the nursery at church ... and we LOVE it ! we have such a good group of kids.
I honestly look forward to seeing them every Sunday .. They learn and grow so fast its amazing
oh an Matthew COLORED my hair !! yup, I coached him of course but yeah he foiled/ highlighted my hair .. loved it
he did such a good job too .. for his first time
I became an Aunt again to Jeff and Erika's new baby girl, her name is Emma. I still have yet to meet here but she looks gorgeous in pictures.

We'll the 4th of July has come and gone. It seemed so spread out here in Texas seriously fire work shows on Saturday Sunday and Monday !!
Sunday we enjoyed watching a documentary called King Corn that was eye opening!! and also Grapevine's fire work show which seemed to last forever. Monday we joined Jeff's family for some good eatin... mmm the cake was divine
and that's about it .. pretty chill

s.s visit

Shawna came for a week long visit last week

I honestly think Shawna has seen more of Texas than I have ..in just her seven sort days here

She hit up Houston with Jeff for a few days and went to the Johnson Space Museum

Then of course we took her to the FortWorth Stockyards

ate at Joe T's and drank up dublin D.P.

Shawna shopped at the beverly hills of Texas (the NorthPark Mall)

It was my first time going there and oh how I loved it

Camie lost her first tooth the day Shawna arrived so Shawna promised her sparkly "rock star"nail polish on our girls shopping day.. which later then turned into lip gloss (ata girl)

We ate at Celebrations on Lovers Lane

(one of my favorite streets in Dallas)

We dined with Jeff Erika and the girls

then we strolled around downtown and went to

JFK memorial, HardRock Cafe and the Dallas Prison (ha.. by mistake)

We had heeps of fun and laughs, and it really just made me grateful that

Shawna wanted to spend her time off with us here in Texas !!
