This Man is Mine ....

and Oh ... How I love Him

I can't even begin to describe our first year of marriage .. but I will say that both Matthew and I have learned a ton and continue to. I'm so happy Matthew is stronger than me because I most definatly need that from him. I'm blown away by the patience and optimism he has .. I think we are begining to understand what it means to truely fall in love with each other ....

thanks to you all ...family and friends who have shared your love with us, it has made us stronger together

so ... in celebration Matthew and I treated ourselves for surving the first year... with a massage some needed clothes, dinning out and turning off the phones, allowing ourselves to feel unplugged from the world for awhile !!

( I recommend it )

Oh how shocked I was by Matthews cunning and clever ways of totally taking me by surprise. He surprised me with this gorgeous antique chair that our good friend Ernie Flynn delivered to our house, while we were away !

Then at the Hyatt (sweet hotel)... we were watching my favorite movie... The Nightmare Before Christmas when i hear some sort of high pitched churping and beeping from under my pillow .... and he reaches down and whips out this incredible phone... i was so touched because not even three days before i was throwing my phone at the wall in frustration of it 's lack of working ! so this new phone was such a sweet and unexpected surprise !!!

Literally this weekend has been ideal I couln't have asked for anything more ...

Midway

it was time again to get out of the city ... so to Midway we went

this is why i love the fall

"lil swiss of utah "they call it ... the town is so charming alot of which is swiss inspired

we had the company of Tim & Jen which always makes for a good time ... i loved the spontaneous trip it was .. with lil to no planning . I must say i was hoping it would have been cooler and had more fall like atmosphere i guess i jumped the gun a lil too soon, either way i thought it was fun

alot of the homes looked very similar and most of them where for sale... Midway was founded in 1891 so i think this home was built in 1877 it was one of the many Bonner homes back in the day .. anyway gorgeous lil homes

had to of coarse take some artsy photos by old barns and lil sheds ..we are in utah

this picture below is taken on the side of the huge Midway Community Center where they have many events for the Swiss Days ..

how appropriate Matt and Tim bonding with a jackass ... ha ha

this animal seemed very old very lonely and wanted our company he followed us as we walked down main street to the end of his graz'n field , mean while lizzy was not sure what to think of him, she was a lil spooked

good cause

The salon had its 2nd annual benefit for the Ride For Life that Mark Koebel puts on every year to raise money for the Ronald Mcdonald Home....

It got a lil crazy 2 news was there filming while i busted out haircuts it was a blast ....
the Pie donated tons of pizza's and there where drinks of every kind ha ha

my boss Jr, Denise and Ross in the break room of the salon where there is never a dull moment

i love the peeps i work with .... Katie Parker and Jr again

Overall we raised some good money for the cause and had way.... too much fun doing it

I'm so glade i was able to be apart of it.... Next year will even be better !!

i think lil Kylie warmed up to her uncle matt quiet nicely ...

considering the grizzly like facial hair....

she is very much so a lil cruiser and will be walking here shortly ...

This lil lady has so much personality.. it was lovely spending a lil time with Kylie, Avery & Jana on sunday...

she is going to have her happy first birthday on the 27th ..

crazy that just reminds me how close matthew and i are to the year mark !!

later that day....

After the parade on the 24th of july we escaped to the cooler less frantic Park City and strolled around .......

We enjoyed trying out a new resturant on Main ...called Main Street Pizza Noodle ..
it was alright !
i mostly go to just enjoy the brightly colored buildings and quant lil boutiques



Matt had a difficult time figuring out the parking meter (as you can see in the 2 pictures above)
i thought it was so cute. pretty much it was a short lil afternoon trip but refreshingly fun

Days of 47 parade

seriously these guys were huge !!

yes this is my hubby matthew as a clown ...

I was so lucky to have gotten a shot of these guys they were zippin around so fast




oh and our very own ...Henry B. Eyring the closes I've ever been to any high authority in the church

Im grateful for the Pioneers for their physical trials which iItruely believe they were such a strong people to have endured what they did
And for that we have this gorgeous state of Utah and the Gospel we cherish

Im also very grateful for such a kind ward family and that I was treated so kindly during the parade and was given a front row seat thanks to... (Sis Lopez) I enjoyed my first days of 47 parade very much because of you

freedom 4th

our 4th of July consisted of family..Pine Valley..homemade root beer...

slip and slide ... beanbag toss...lemonade pie i would have to say the invite to spend the afternoon at Pine Valley was the hit of the entire trip.... it had been years since we all had been there it was so cool and refreshing !!

I loved seeing my babies... i miss them so much so be prepared for alot of pictures of them..

camie is such a lil lady ....

maddie and camie both have become even more beautiful....

Sky Sky ... calls me "me me matt" now she won't just say "me me "
it's always fun coming back home and seeing how much the kids have grown up

Mad's once she warms up to you she is so tender... she absolutely gravitated to matthew and would continually say " my Matt"




Moo Moo and Shawna were so excited about this outing with the family Shawna even had her co worker Armando make seviche... some dish i couldn't enjoy but everyone seemed to really love it !!

the bro's helped set up this huge air jumping gym for the kids that Aunt Jillyn had.... and we had these blowing bubble guns that lizzy would go crazy over... she jumped up so high to catch the bubbles in her mouth ... she was a hit

oh and Dallas was looking so cute with her lil tummy w/ active lil Graham...Can't wait to meet him. Over all i really needed this visit home and it was more than i even hoped for, thank you family for all the fun times...
