After the parade on the 24th of july we escaped to the cooler less frantic Park City and strolled around .......

We enjoyed trying out a new resturant on Main ...called Main Street Pizza Noodle ..
it was alright !
i mostly go to just enjoy the brightly colored buildings and quant lil boutiques



Matt had a difficult time figuring out the parking meter (as you can see in the 2 pictures above)
i thought it was so cute. pretty much it was a short lil afternoon trip but refreshingly fun

Days of 47 parade

Im grateful for the Pioneers for their physical trials which iItruely believe they were such a strong people to have endured what they did
And for that we have this gorgeous state of Utah and the Gospel we cherish

Im also very grateful for such a kind ward family and that I was treated so kindly during the parade and was given a front row seat thanks to... (Sis Lopez) I enjoyed my first days of 47 parade very much because of you

freedom 4th

our 4th of July consisted of family..Pine Valley..homemade root beer...

slip and slide ... beanbag toss...lemonade pie i would have to say the invite to spend the afternoon at Pine Valley was the hit of the entire trip.... it had been years since we all had been there it was so cool and refreshing !!

I loved seeing my babies... i miss them so much so be prepared for alot of pictures of them..

camie is such a lil lady ....

maddie and camie both have become even more beautiful....

Sky Sky ... calls me "me me matt" now she won't just say "me me "
it's always fun coming back home and seeing how much the kids have grown up

Mad's once she warms up to you she is so tender... she absolutely gravitated to matthew and would continually say " my Matt"




Moo Moo and Shawna were so excited about this outing with the family Shawna even had her co worker Armando make seviche... some dish i couldn't enjoy but everyone seemed to really love it !!

the bro's helped set up this huge air jumping gym for the kids that Aunt Jillyn had.... and we had these blowing bubble guns that lizzy would go crazy over... she jumped up so high to catch the bubbles in her mouth ... she was a hit

oh and Dallas was looking so cute with her lil tummy w/ active lil Graham...Can't wait to meet him. Over all i really needed this visit home and it was more than i even hoped for, thank you family for all the fun times...

a day in Logan

i didn't believe matt when he said there was a 25 cent car wash that gave you a full minute and a half of washing ... how small (old ) town is that i loved it !!

of course we had to stop for the famous aggie ice cream i was amazed at how cheap it was

The Logan temple a must see when your in town its so breath taking

now the Logan Tabernacle i had never seen. The organ in that building was seriously huge thats all you really saw when you walked in... it was fabulous

so i found this story to be very interesting .... when matthew was attending USU he tried with all his might to become a true Aggie ... How abouts do you go doing that.... you may ask ??

you have to lock lips with a girl on the Aggie a's in the middle of campus ... matthew was turned down not once not twice but three times in the same day !!!

awww...how cute

Matthew used to work at this gorgeous very historic Providence Inn as a front desk clerk and security man. It reminded me of our bed and breakfast we stayed at our honeymoon night

We also walked into a lil dress shop and ran into Craig Jessop ... and i ended up finding a cute dress there for $15 bucks . I really enjoyed matthews showing me around Logan it was fun.

bees game

If we hadn't been given free tickets I'm sure we never would have gone to a bees game ... so the tickets gave us an out for an evening which we both needed and throughly enjoyed.

The weather was ideal for a ball game .. i was a lil afraid that it would be too warm but it was fabulous ( oh the bee's won the game, finally after loosing six straight games)

tribute to my fathers

the men in my life ... have had such an influence in my life they taught me how to work

and how to feed the cattle, but really they were strong hands in creating the woman i am today

my father easly pleased by the smell of the land (especially after a storm) or the smell of strong gun powder.

I was literally my fathers shadow I am so blessed for the short time I had him in my life .

Grandpa my best friend.. long days on the tractor, long talks on the stack of hay bales, cattle trips to Kolob. You could always find us down on the farm and what wonderful memories i'll always have ... it's days like Fathers Day i am reminded and treasure these incredible men . I truely admire my husband and the future father he will be . I am reminded how short life is so i squeeze all the love out of matt as i can ( love you babe )

Ferron ..anyone

These lil guys are a mix of a weimeriner and chocolate lab pointer of some sort they are precious and i had the duty of holding sarah s new lil pup all the 3 hours home and loved it ....

seriously i think these small town salons are hilariously cute and had to make it a photo op.. we saw some strange things on our way ... like a ufo landing site that we failed to capture. We also had a very historic beautiful drive at times (the kinda stuff I really enjoy) and tons of catching up with my friend....

I had the pleasure of joining my sweet friend Sarah Burk in a lil trip to our very own Ferron Utah . Now i've lived in Utah my entire life and had never heard of half the tiny towns we drove through. We have an Elmo, Utah a Clawson even a Hunington Utah ... goodness I'm learning so much !! so the reason for our random trip to no mans land was to pick up an adorable puppy for sarah and zac...good luck you two with your new addition to your family

as you can see matt and scott had matching squeenting eyes it was so sunny out

oh and lil Jakey loved Lizzy he would get so excited and them completly belly laugh as she ran around the yard ...you can't see in this picture but he was laughing so hard he had tears

i love matthew ....he is so animated with lil ones, i think the boys seemed to warm up alot quicker to him than to me.. but you can just see that lil boy come out in matthew (its so adorable )
